Rajasthan sues case on BCCI for 120 crore loss

IPL’s franchisee RR(Rajasthan Royals) has asked for Rs 120 crore from the Board of Indian Cricket(BCCI) as damages for their suspension from the Twenty20 league.

The Board had ended the contract with the franchise claiming that RR had breached the agreement by changing its shareholding pattern without the Board’s consent.

RR took legal recourse through the arbitrator, who ruled in their favour.

BCCI appealed in the Bombay High Court against the stay of the termination of the contract given by the arbitrator but the High Court also ruled in Royals’ favour.
